Pipe Yard Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Create cut orders for shipping (both same day orders and STO’s)
• Operate forklift (5k or 10K) to load/unload trailers
• Restocks materials
• Operate yard truck for the purpose of loading and unloading trailers
• Create cut orders for return to stock
• Create NCR orders for two suppliers
• Create Sub Contract PO’s for T&CC
• Create repair orders for pipe that need reconditioning
• Prioritize reconditioning of pipe with the requestor
• Conduct meetings twice a week with CPS production to discuss priority list, QI Priority list and completion dates for all repair orders
• Maintain a good working relationship with all Branch employees
• Monitor and track the progress of all repair order types
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• High School diploma and/or equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience with heavy equipment operation
• Forklift certification on 5k and 10k forklifts
• Experience working in a pipe yard or warehouse preferred
• Follow established guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times
• Ability to make and be accountable for decisions
• Communication skills, both verbal and written, and organizational skills
• Possess integrity and a dedication to results
