Pipe/Tank Finisher - Night Shift

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates Finishing equipment
  • Uses measuring equipment
  • Must be a certified forklift operator
  • Uses Saws and Hand tools
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
  • Utilizes safe work habits
  • Wears appropriate PPE
  • Complies with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Complies with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Complies with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Ability to read pressure gauges
  • Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
  • Ability to read labels on pipe along with specs on paper
  • Good vision required for safe operation of forklift
  • Standing up to 12 hours daily
  • Walking up to 12 hours daily
  • Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
  • Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
  • Assist where and when needed as required
  • Utilize recommended safe work habits and make use of all safety equipment provided
  • Assist with OJT (On Job Training) employees as needed
  • Travel less than 10%

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of verifiable work history
  • Ability to read, write and speak English preferred
