About the role
Knife River Southern Idaho seeks a Pipe Superintendent to join their team. This role requires strong leadership skills and a background in underground work, particularly in water and sewer systems.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Project Managers and clients in the field
- Ensure all operations adhere to safety measures and company standards
- Manage and lead construction crews effectively
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Manage job costs and schedules
- Use computer software for job costing and scheduling
- Travel as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a foreman or leadership position in underground work, specifically in water or sewer systems
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work both day and night shifts
- Good communication and scheduling skills
- Some working knowledge of computers
Qualifications
- Knowledge of water and sewer related work, safety measures, and equipment operation and maintenance
- Physically capable of standing, stooping, and working on uneven ground
