Pipe Stress Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe stress analysis and support design.
• Apply piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API).
• Use pipe stress analysis software such as AutoPIPE and Caesar II.
• Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) using tools like FE-Pipe and NozzlePro.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and design facilities, components, and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in pipe stress analysis and support design.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Proficiency in pipe stress analysis software (AutoPIPE, Caesar II).
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and associated software (FE-Pipe, NozzlePro).
• Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Advanced experience with AutoPIPE.
• Working knowledge of plastic pipe design and analysis.
• Experience with design tools such as Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
• Passion for buildings and construction.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $116,800.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
