About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pipe Layer for Underground Utilities and/or Storm Drain projects in the Shelby, NC area to join our team of construction professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform various skilled tasks associated with grading and pipe installation operations
• Cut pipes to required lengths, align and connect pieces, and seal joints
• Use tools such as shovel, broom, pick, hammer, saw, and concrete saw
• Unload, load, and maintain all tools and equipment needed for daily tasks

Requirements

• 1-3 years of pipe laying experience
• Demonstrate safe and proficient operation of hand tools in a production work environment
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen
