Pipe Fitter

About the role

Turner Industries Group is seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter with a minimum of 5 years' experience for maintenance work in Pasadena, TX. Ideal for local candidates. Must be available to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lays out, fabricates, prepares, and checks pipe against job specifications for assembly at the job site.
• Interprets spool sheet diagrams to determine size, shapes, and angles of required pipes, pipe fittings, flanges, etc.
• Plans sequence of fabrication; measures and cuts pipe; cleans and prepares pipe by grinding.
• Bends and threads pipe—may operate bending machine; assembles and joins pipe and pipe fittings.
• May operate hydraulic lift to relocate pipe.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Journeyman Pipefitter.
• NCCER certification highly preferred.
• Must be able to pass craft test and safety council courses in English.

Schedule

• 4-10 work schedule.
• Must be available to work overtime as needed.
