Pipe Fitter

About the role

Responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining pipes and pipe systems in various industrial settings. Works closely with engineers and other trades to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and install piping systems according to blueprints and specifications
• Inspect and test new and existing pipe systems for leaks and malfunctions
• Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, and repairing pipes and fittings
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical issues and improve efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in pipe fitting
• Proficiency in using pipe fitting tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel as needed

Skills

• Knowledge of pipe fitting techniques and materials
• Experience with pipe fitting software
• Good physical stamina for manual labor
