About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bodyshop Painter to prepare, paint, and refurbish Ground Support Equipment (GSE) used in airport and aviation operations. The ideal candidate will have strong surface preparation skills, experience in industrial or automotive coatings, and a high commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare GSE units for painting (cleaning, sanding, filling, masking, and primer application).
• Apply paint using a pressure pot with an air gun, following specifications.
• Mix paints, catalysts, and thinners according to required proportions.
• Match colors and finishes to manufacturer or customer standards.
• Inspect finished surfaces for defects and perform touch-ups as needed.
• Maintain paint booths, tools, and equipment in safe operating condition.
• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas safely and organized.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management to support operational efficiency and business needs.

Requirements

• Experience as a Bodyshop Painter or Industrial Painter.
• Preferred experience painting GSE, heavy machinery, trucks, buses, or industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and paint systems.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and safety data sheets.
• Experience in corrosion protection and protective coatings is a plus.
• Good physical condition and ability to work in a workshop environment.
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality work standards.
