Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Supports fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc.
• Keeps knowledge of Food & Beverage menus, current promotions and specials, and answers guests' questions verbally and clearly
• Accurately writes down guests’ orders and enters them into POS system in a timely manner
• Retrieves food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area and delivers them to guests in a timely manner
• Assesses guests’ demeanor and identifies when to summon a Manager
• Collects guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensures transactions are correct using POS, calculates and delivers correct change to guests in a timely manner
• Performs shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned sidework
• Restocks and maintains restroom cleanliness for guests
• Can stand/walk 100% of shift, reach, bend, stoop frequently, lift up to 50 lbs, deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses
• Speaks, reads, and writes English, reads and writes handwritten guest checks, notes, etc.

Qualifications

• Completes and passes Florida Responsible Vendor program and food safety certification program
• Works five (5) day work week
• Paid vacation available one week after year one, two weeks after two years, and three weeks after ten years
