Pilot Safety Officer - Located in Denton, TX

Located in Denton, TX Job Description Regional Safety Officer Regional safety representative works with company regional representatives (RAM, RCM, RMM, etc.) and base program management to promote a positive safety culture and enhance workplace safety. Mentor and train base Site Safety Officers and base managers in safety management and accident prevention. Perform as new-hire and recurrent training instructor. Perform duties as the company SMS Internal Evaluation Program base auditor. Conduct event investigations and provide recommendations to company leadership for improvement. This position does not require the employee to relocate to North Texas Ii. Qualifications Education:Two year Associate's degree; B.S. degree (preferred)FAA Certification as a RW Commercial Instrument pilot or A&P Mechanic; Paramedic or RN Skills:Ability to define problems through the collection of data and information, establish facts and draw sound conclusionsStrong presentation skillsExcellent verbal, written communication and consensus building interpersonal skillsAdvanced leadership skillsKnowledge of OSHA, FAA Part 135 regulations Experience:5 years experience as either: EMS rotor wing pilot; EMS rotor wing medical flight crewmember (Flight Paramedic or Flight Nurse); or rotor wing A&P mechanicOrganizational auditing experience (preferred)Prior experience as an organizational safety representative (preferred) Iii.
