About the role

Our 870 Aurora site is seeking a Pilot Plant Associate II (2nd shift) to join our Operations team. The role is responsible for routine support of one or more pilot plant functions and sustaining activities.

Responsibilities

• Cleanroom & customer sample manufacture and process development
• Inventory control
• Routine maintenance
• Troubleshooting equipment and instrumentation
• Developing and updating department systems
• Processing ERP batch transactions
• Executes routine/sequential tasks using detailed work instructions to manufacture lab or pilot scale slurries. Tasks include storage, handling, and use of chemicals; routine physical property measurements; operation of standard unit operations (mixers, pumps, filters); timely & accurate documentation of results.
• Identify and assist in the resolution of process OOC conditions
• Uses good judgment to recognize and address deviations from standards, and equipment
