Pilot (First Officer) - West Region

The Pilot role at NetJets is dedicated to providing a superior air transportation experience with a continued safety record. This position requires a high level of professionalism and adaptability, encompassing various responsibilities from flight operations to in-flight services.
Responsibilities
- Safe operation of the aircraft according to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual, and Standard Operating Practices.
- Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, make introductions, brief them on the flight, verify itineraries, and provide weather updates and safety briefings.
- Handle in-flight service including alcohol service and catering, load and stow baggage, and assist with pet and smoking-related flights.
- Act as the final authority on the aircraft, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidance, and communicate any maintenance issues to the MCC.
- Communicate with Owners/passengers throughout the flight, managing their needs and expectations.
- Complete necessary paperwork related to maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies.
Requirements
- FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for ATP/R-ATP certificate with multi-engine rating.
- At least 21 years of age.
- 1,500 hours total flight time experience or 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate, or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification or appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
- 200 hours cross-country flight time.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated).
- ATP written completed prior to Indoctrination Training.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport.
- Able to work varying hours including day and night; weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Extremely flexible and able to adjust to rapid changes.
- Able to manage rest to be prepared for flight duty.
- Able to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English.
- Service-oriented with neat, well-groomed appearance and strong interaction skills.
- Able to make quick and accurate decisions, paying close attention to detail.
- Able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Able to work around animals, including handling and caring for them.
- Able to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification.
- First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
- Valid State driver's license.
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
- Service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and a demonstrated ability to make a positive impression.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Able to work around animals, including the handling and care prior to, during, and after Owner flights.
- Able to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $86,015 - $117,706. Please note that this is subject to change based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Flight schedules vary and may include day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Duty periods can last up to 14 hours per day for up to 8 days and may span different time zones and extreme weather conditions.
