About the role
The Pilot role at NetJets is dedicated to providing a superior air transportation experience with a continued safety record. This position requires a high level of professionalism and adaptability, encompassing roles from professional aviator to in-flight service provider.
Responsibilities
- Safe operation of the aircraft according to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOP's).
- Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, introduce them, brief them on the specific flight/trip, verify itineraries, provide weather updates, and safety briefings.
- Handle in-flight service including alcohol service and catering, load and stow baggage, and manage pets and smokers.
- Act as the final authority on the aircraft regarding safety and regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with Owners/passengers throughout the flight, ensuring smooth transitions between FBOs.
- Communicate any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the MCC Controller.
- Complete necessary paperwork related to maintenance issues.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for ATP/R-ATP with multi-engine rating.
- At least 21 years of age.
- 1,500 hours total flight time experience or 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification or 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
- 200 hours cross-country flight time.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time).
- ATP written completed prior to Indoctrination Training.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
- A valid State driver's license.
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
- Service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and a demonstrated ability to make a positive impression.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger-service perspective.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to work around animals, including the handling and care prior to, during, and after Owner flights.
- Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.

Pay
$86,015 - $117,706 base salary range.
Schedule
Varies based on assignment, including day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
