About the role

The Pilot is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and provides a superior air transportation experience. This role requires a high level of adaptability, collaboration, and service orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Safe operation of the aircraft according to FAA guidelines and company SOP's
  • Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight and provide briefings
  • Handle in-flight service including alcohol service and catering
  • Load and stow baggage as needed
  • Handle flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke
  • Act as the final authority on aircraft operations
  • Liaise with Owners/passengers throughout the flight
  • Communicate maintenance abnormalities to MCC
  • Complete necessary paperwork related to maintenance

Requirements

  • FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or equivalent
  • At least 21 years of age
  • 1,500 hours total flight time experience or 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate
  • 200 hours cross-country flight time
  • 100 hours of night flying
  • 75 hours of instrument time
  • ATP written completed prior to Indoctrination Training
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
  • Valid passport
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction
  • Valid State driver's license
  • Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Service-oriented with neat, well-groomed appearance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly
  • Able to work around animals, including handling and caring for them before, during, and after Owner flights

Pay

$86,015 - $117,706 base salary range

Schedule

Varying hours including day and night; weekdays, weekends, and holidays; duty may last for up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days; may span different time zones and extreme weather differences in the course of a trip; may be away from home for seven or more days and nights, staying in hotels.
