About the role

The Pilot role at NetJets is dedicated to providing a superior air transportation experience with a focus on safety, personalized service, and reliable global access. Responsibilities

  • Safe operation of the aircraft according to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOP's).
  • Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, introduce them, brief them on the specific flight/trip, verify itineraries, provide weather updates, and safety briefings, and explain any changes to the itinerary.
  • Handle in-flight service including the handling of alcohol and the service of catering, load and properly stow baggage as needed, and act as the final authority on the aircraft regarding all operational aspects.
  • Communicate any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Company via the MCC Controller on duty for their fleet and properly complete any associated paperwork.
  • Act as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO until departure from the final FBO.
  • Manage rest schedules to ensure readiness for flight duty, which may last up to 14 hours per day for up to 8 days and span different time zones and weather conditions.
  • Secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, and pass TSA background screenings.
  • Travel internationally and manage accommodation arrangements.
  • Work around animals, including handling and caring for pets during Owner flights.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification, Restricted ATP certificate, or meet the requirements for ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • At least 1,500 hours total flight time experience or 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification or 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
  • At least 200 hours cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
  • At least 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
  • At least 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time).
  • ATP written completed prior to start of Indoctrination Training.
  • A current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
  • An FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
  • A valid United States passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
  • A valid State driver's license.
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
  • A neat, well-groomed appearance and a demonstrated ability to make a positive impression, including a strong capability to effectively interact with passengers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
  • The ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger-service perspective.
  • The ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge, skills, abilities, and other (KSAOs) include FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meeting the requirements for ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating.
