About the role

As a Pilot at NetJets, you are responsible for delivering a superior air transportation experience with an unmatched safety record on every flight. You serve as the face of NetJets, combining technically accurate and safe aviation with exceptional service to provide a concierge-level experience for every Owner and passenger. Your role encompasses professional aviator duties as well as in-flight service provider responsibilities, ensuring a seamless and high-quality travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the aircraft from taxi, take-off, and landing in compliance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
• Greet Owners and passengers pre-flight, brief them on the flight/trip details, verify itineraries, provide weather updates, and conduct safety briefings.
• Deliver in-flight service, including handling alcohol and catering.
• Load and properly stow all baggage on the aircraft.
• Conduct flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke.
• Act as the final authority on the aircraft for all operational decisions, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidance.
• Serve as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO until safe departure at the final destination.
• Communicate maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and complete associated paperwork.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, depending on the specific role or trip requirements.

Requirements

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP), Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating (per FAA 61.160).
• Minimum qualifications:
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • 1,500 hours total flight time, or:
  • 1,250 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate, or
  • 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification, or
  • 1,000 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
  • 200 hours cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
  • 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
  • 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
  • 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time).
  • ATP written exam completed prior to the start of Indoctrination Training.
  • 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
• Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
• FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit.
• Valid passport with authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restrictions.
• Valid U.S. state driver’s license.
• Ability to secure airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges, including passing TSA background screening.
• Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Service-oriented mindset with a professional, well-groomed appearance and strong passenger interaction skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
• Ability to make quick, accurate decisions with attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger-service perspective.
• Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Ability to work around animals, including handling and care during flights.
• Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to adjust to rapid changes.
• Ability to manage rest to remain prepared for flight duty during tours lasting up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days, spanning different time zones and extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to be away from home for seven or more consecutive days and nights, staying in hotels.

Pay

Base salary range: $86,015 - $117,706.
