The role requires wearing many hats, from professional aviator to in-flight service provider, ensuring a concierge-level experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the aircraft from taxi, take-off, and landing per FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
• Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, brief them on the flight/trip, verify itineraries, provide weather updates, and conduct safety briefings.
• Deliver in-flight service, including handling alcohol and catering.
• Load and properly stow all baggage on the aircraft.
• Conduct flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke.
• Act as the final authority on the aircraft for all areas of operation, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidance.
• Serve as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO until safe departure at the final destination.
• Communicate maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and complete associated paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned, depending on the position.

Requirements

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP), Restricted ATP, or meet requirements for ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating (IAW 61.160).
• At least 21 years of age.
• Minimum flight time requirements:
  • 1,500 hours total flight time, or
  • 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate, or
  • 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification, or
  • 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
• 200 hours cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
• 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
• 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
• 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time).
• ATP written exam completed prior to start of Indoctrination Training.
• 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
• Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
• FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit.
• Valid passport and authorization to work in the U.S. with unrestricted travel in and out of the country.
• Ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Flexibility to adjust to rapid changes and manage rest to remain prepared for flight duty.
• Ability to handle duty periods lasting up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days, spanning different time zones and extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to be away from home for seven or more days and nights, staying in hotels.
• Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
• Ability to pass Transportation Security Administration background screening.
• Valid U.S. passport and state driver’s license.
• Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and strong passenger interaction skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
• Ability to make quick, accurate decisions with attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger-service perspective.
• Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Ability to work around animals, including handling and care before, during, and after flights.
• Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.

Pay

Base Salary Range: $86,015 - $117,706
