Pilates Studio Instructor

Job Responsibilities

• Instruct effective, motivating, and safe Pilates Sessions.
• Train clients using a variety of Pilates equipment in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Manage individual, studio and clientele schedule.
• Manage administrative processes needed for records, session sales and payroll.
• Regular communication with management, co-workers, and club staff.
• Inspect equipment/studio to ensure equipment operation, cleanliness, and safety.
• Provide Demo sessions for members and co-workers.
• Participate in department/club promotional campaigns.
• Participate in department in-services and staff meetings.
• Regular outreach with clients/prospective clients to maintain and grow business.

Qualifications

• Must Be Certified as a Pilates Reformer Instructor - if not certified, must become certified within 6 months of hire.
• One year experience teaching Pilates is preferred.
• Experience with fitness, dance, yoga, or mind/body movement practice is a plus.
• Experience working with mature clients and clients in need of a therapeutic approach to exercising.

$36,000-$46,000 based on 20 hours per week
