About the role
As an Equinox Pilates Instructor, your career becomes an empowered lifestyle focused on maximizing both your personal and client potential. Under the guidance of a dedicated Pilates manager, you will refine your approach to programming, education, and business development, ensuring your career is as limitless as your passion.
Responsibilities
- Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive Pilates training programs tailored to each client’s goals to keep them motivated and progressing.
- Conduct initial complimentary client assessments and goal-setting sessions to recommend personalized Pilates training programs.
- Instruct private, duet, and semi-private sessions.
- Collaborate with the Pilates Manager to build your book of business through our member base and ensure your success.
- Complete all administrative requirements associated with client management.
- Collaborate with other club departments to provide members with a well-rounded experience.
- Deliver excellent customer service to all Equinox members and guests.
- Maintain consistent and frequent client activity to help them achieve results and goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Maintain studio and equipment cleanliness.
Requirements
- Completion of a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program or certification on all Pilates apparatus, including mat, reformer, Cadillac/trapeze, Wunda chair, high or combo chair, and barrels.
- A minimum of 400 hours of Pilates education through a recognized certification program.
- Valid copy of Pilates certification(s) required.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to squat, bend, reach, push, pull, and safely spot and correct clients during sessions.

Pay
$45–$62 per session, $18.47/hour for non-session work, with opportunities to earn additional incentive bonuses.
