Pilates Instructor

About the role

We are currently hiring Pilates Instructors for our Lakewood location. Positions are available both full-time and part-time, with pay ranging from $40.00 to $65.00 per class depending on experience. Negotiable for qualified talent.

Responsibilities

• Teach challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe manner to all levels of clients
• Teach group classes and private/semi-private sessions in state-of-the-art studios featuring Balanced Body equipment
• Earn great pay working flexible hours that can be adjusted, with block shifts, private training, and subbing opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum 450+ hour comprehensive Pilates education (including Mat and Reformer)
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
• Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated group Reformer instruction abilities
• Professional and effective communication skills
• Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, specifically Pilates
• Passion for learning and willingness to attend continued education trainings and seminars
• Punctual and reliable
• Must be skilled at using a variety of Pilates equipment (Mat and Reformer), including Chair, Springboard, Cadillac, TRX, Magic Circle, and others
• Ability to demonstrate anatomical knowledge and focus on safety with the ability to provide modifications and progressions for clients with injuries and/or limitations
• Stay up to date with and implement Club Pilates education standards at all times
• Develop and create class plans that are safe, effective, and challenging pursuant to Club Pilates standards
• Provide Pilates instruction to include Intro classes, group apparatus classes, private and semi-private training as scheduled
