Pilates Instructor

About the role

Riser Fitness is seeking full-time and part-time Pilates instructors to join their team. Positions are available at various locations offering pay ranging from $40.00 to $65.00 per class, depending on experience. Negotiable for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Teach group classes using a variety of Pilates equipment including Mat, Reformer, Chair, Springboard, Cadillac, TRX, Magic Circle, and other equipment.
• Provide modifications and progressions for clients with injuries or limitations.
• Stay updated with and implement Club Pilates education standards.
• Create and deliver safe, effective, and challenging Pilates classes, including Intro classes and private/semi-private training.
• Attend to any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 450-hour comprehensive Pilates education, including Mat and Reformer training.
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises.
• Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated group Reformer instruction abilities.
• Professional and effective communication skills.
• Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, particularly in Pilates.
• Passion for learning and attending continued education trainings and seminars.
• Punctual and reliable.

Qualifications

• Passionate about Pilates and fitness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of anatomy and injury prevention.
