Pilates Instructor

About the role

Riser Fitness is seeking Pilates Instructors for full-time and part-time positions. Compensation ranges from $40.00 to $65.00 per class or more depending on experience. Negotiable for qualified talent.

Responsibilities

• Teach group classes and private/semi-private sessions in state-of-the-art studios equipped with Balanced Body equipment.
• Earn competitive pay with flexible hours and block shifts.
• Provide challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe manner for all levels of clients.
• Develop and create class plans that are safe, effective, and challenging.
• Provide Pilates instruction including Intro classes, group apparatus classes, private and semi-private training as scheduled.
• Stay updated with and implement Club Pilates education standards.
• Must be skilled at using a variety of Pilates equipment, including Mat and Reformer, and potentially Chair, Springboard, Cadillac, TRX, Magic Circle, and others.
• Demonstrate anatomical knowledge and provide modifications and progressions for clients with injuries or limitations.
• Ensure proper and safe use of Pilates equipment during each class.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 450+ hour comprehensive Pilates education, including Mat and Reformer training.
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises.
• Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated group Reformer instruction abilities.
• Professional and effective communication skills.
• Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, specifically Pilates.
• Passion for learning and attending continued education trainings and seminars.
• Punctual and reliable.
