Pilates Instructor

About the role

Riser Fitness is seeking Pilates Instructors for full-time and part-time positions. Pay ranges from $40.00 to $65.00 per class, depending on experience. Negotiable for qualified talent.

Responsibilities

• Teach group classes and private/semi-private sessions in state-of-the-art studios featuring Balanced Body equipment.
• Earn competitive pay with flexible hours, including block shifts, private training, and subbing opportunities.
• Ensure safe yet creative group experiences by properly and safely using a variety of Pilates equipment, including Mat, Reformer, Chair, Springboard, Cadillac, TRX, Magic Circle, and other equipment.
• Provide modifications and progressions for clients with injuries and/or limitations, demonstrating anatomical knowledge and safety.
• Stay updated with and implement Club Pilates education standards.
• Create and deliver safe, effective, and challenging Pilates classes according to Club Pilates standards.
• Teach Intro classes and group apparatus classes as scheduled.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 450+ hour comprehensive Pilates education, including Mat and Reformer training.
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises.
• Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated group Reformer instruction abilities.
• Professional and effective communication skills.
• Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, specifically Pilates.
• Passion for learning and willingness to attend continued education trainings and seminars.
• Punctual and reliable.
