Piglet Nursery (Farm) Technician
About the role
Join our dedicated production team as a Nursery Technician and play a key part in caring for young piglets during a critical stage of their growth. In this rewarding role, you'll help ensure their health, comfort, and well-being—while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Caring for piglets by performing daily health and comfort checks.
- Creating a positive environment through attentive feeding, watering, and barn upkeep.
- Maintaining detailed records to track animal health and ensure top-quality care.
- Supporting animal movement and ensuring living spaces are safe, clean, and comfortable.
- Following animal welfare practices to ensure every piglet is treated with compassion and respect.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- A strong work ethic with attention to detail and a caring nature.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in barn environments.
- Willingness to work Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays.
- A genuine interest in animal care and welfare.
