About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to our ongoing investigative projects. This role involves research, fact-checking, and supporting the production of high-quality audio journalism. You will work closely with reporters, producers, and editors to uncover and tell compelling stories.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on assigned topics, including sourcing, verifying, and analyzing information from various outlets.
• Assist in the production of investigative podcast series, including scripting, fact-checking, and collaborating with the production team.
• Support field reporting efforts, including coordinating interviews, gathering background information, and assisting with logistics.
• Contribute to the development of story ideas and angles for future projects.
• Work with editors to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to journalistic standards.
• Engage with sources, experts, and stakeholders to gather insights and build relationships.
• Assist in the promotion and distribution of completed projects across platforms.

Requirements

• Strong research skills and experience in investigative journalism or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with audio production tools and platforms is a plus.
• Commitment to ethical journalism and a passion for uncovering the truth.
• Experience in conflict reporting or international journalism is desirable but not required.
