General Summary

The Pickleball Coach is responsible for all pickleball activities as assigned and directed by the Club’s management. The role involves promoting and teaching pickleball clinics, private lessons, and programs, organizing and maintaining a teaching schedule, achieving personal revenue goals, and providing new member orientations.

Primary Job Functions

  • Promote and teach pickleball clinics, private lessons, and programs as assigned by the Director of Tennis.
  • Organize and maintain a daily teaching schedule, including private lessons and group lessons.
  • Achieve personal revenue goals.
  • Provide new member orientations and evaluations, introduce members to the facility and its programming, and encourage participation in club events.
  • Attend staff meetings and other club events as directed.
  • Be available for other job functions during emergencies.
  • Represent the club professionally in terms of image, dress, communication, and follow-through.
  • Maintain accurate records of client exercise programs and progress.
  • Enforce and maintain the tennis/pickleball area's cleanliness and safety.
  • Accurately record daily work hours and client sessions.

  • Further corporate objectives and support positive change.

Other Job Functions

  • Assist with special club projects, events, and promotions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two (2) years of professional experience, including college and/or elite professional competition and exposure.
  • Current CPR/AED certification.
  • Well organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service attitude and abilities.
  • Skills in computer usage, including Word, Excel, and other software required by TBCC and regulatory agencies.
