Pickleball Instructor- The Dancel Y in Ellicott City

Position Summary

The Y in Central Maryland is hiring Pickleball coaches for youth and adult Pickleball classes and clinics, located at various Y Family Centers.

Essential Functions

• Focus on quality experiences and engagement within programs, services, and activities
• Provide lessons and offer advice and tips to players at all levels, from beginners to those at advanced stages
• Report any incidents or accidents to the Supervisor
• Aid in facility maintenance, routine preventative maintenance, and repair
• Maintain a monthly inventory of supplies, equipment, and or products
• Offer excellent customer service and help monitor guest feedback
• Maintain the cleanliness of the courts and surrounding areas
• Follow the court reservation system to ensure a smooth and even flow of traffic on and off courts
• Offer all instructional services including private and semi-private lessons, small groups, clinics, team coaching, and tactics and strategy
• Aid in the coordination of all social and competitive events including special tournaments
• Implement programs for all age groups
• Other duties as assigned

Accountability

Accountable for completion of assigned goals as measured by the number of people served, cause driven measures, service satisfaction scores, operating results, and supervisor evaluation of assigned duties.
