Pickleball Instructor (Part-Time)

About the Role
Volo Sports is hiring Pickleball Instructors for our Pickleball clinics at our new Club Volo venue located in Downtown San Jose. As a Pickleball Instructor, you will teach group and private lessons in a professional and safe manner to Volo participants and assist with special events.
Responsibilities
- Instruct all levels from beginner to advanced
- Conduct group and private lessons
- Design and implement lesson plans
- Demonstrate Pickleball techniques
- Evaluate participants for placement in lesson groups or leagues
- Assist in developing and coordinating member retention activities
- Maintain accurate records for classes
- Assist in the development of new opportunities for members
- Assist with court cleanliness and general maintenance
- Enforce venue policies and rules
- Start and end sessions on time, avoiding missed sessions
- Assist with promotional activities and events
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions
Requirements
- Reliable, mature, courteous, and professional with knowledge/experience playing or instructing Pickleball
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable reporting safety hazards and responding to First Aid incidents
- Flexible with scheduling
- Available to work evenings and/or weekends
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- A car or access to reliable transportation

Pay
$40 - $50/hour
