Picking Associate

About the role
This on-site position in our Phoenix, AZ warehouse is highly involved in daily operational functions. As a Picking Associate, you will fulfill orders using a handheld scanner, ensuring promptness and accuracy to guarantee top-tier customer satisfaction. A team-player mentality and commitment to maintaining a safe, positive work environment are essential.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick small parcel orders while ensuring accuracy during the process
- Report any order discrepancies or issues to management
- Be available to come in early or stay late as needed to support business operations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment to prevent accidents and injuries
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for compliance, safety, and quality standards
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while collaborating with diverse team members
- Set a positive example through personal attendance and time management
- Adapt to change in a fast-paced environment to support business objectives
- Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve business goals and growth opportunities

- Pick a minimum of 35 carts per day (40 carts per day to receive a bonus)
- Keep work areas tidy and free of hazards by regularly cleaning and organizing tools, equipment, and materials
Requirements
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Capable of working overtime if needed, including extra hours during the week and some Saturday mornings
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility for a majority of the day
- Ability to perform repetitive duties such as standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, and bending for extended periods
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 5 lbs
- Ability to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to gather product
- Visual abilities including reading, distance vision, and peripheral vision
Schedule
- Full-time, 2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- OR weekend shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
