Picker-Packer

What You'll Do

• Priorities and arranges Pick List based on commitment level to customers.
• Using RF scanners accurately picks correct items and quantities as directed by Pick List.
• While packing confirms picked items and packages items in appropriate shipping container.
• Fulfills all special instructions on Pick List.
• Operates shipping computer.
• Affords assistance in warehouse functions such as cycle counts and product placement.
• Maintains awareness of shipping supplies and alerts supervisor when restocking is needed.
• Performs clerical tasks such as data entry and filing.
• Operates material handling equipment.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Performs computer and administrative work such as order printing, label creation, order confirmation, and tracking.
• Collaborates with carriers for transport arrangements.

Who You Are

• Average manual dexterity (hand-eye coordination).
• At least 2 years of shipping department experience.
• Operates material handling equipment.
• Must be forklift certified.

Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
