Pick & Prep Clerk PT

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation, active sampling and suggestive selling.
• Personalize guest experiences by demonstrating superior guest service, including storytelling about specific products and highlighting their benefits.
• Show knife showmanship skills to showcase the services and offerings at Pick & Prep.
• Operate the Pick & Prep area according to strict merchandising and operational standards.
• Maintain high standards of product quality for sale.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in the department according to Lowes Foods standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, merchandising, and guest service as needed to meet standards.
• Perform PA announcements as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks, including knife skills.
• Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to effectively communicate with and take direction from supervision.
• Ability to work with computers and scales.
