Pick & Prep Clerk FT

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation, active sampling and suggestive selling.
• Personalize guest experiences by demonstrating superior guest service at all times, including storytelling about specific products and highlighting benefits like Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal, and Local.
• Showcase knife skills to enhance the sensory and engaging experience for guests.
• Operate the Pick & Prep area according to strict merchandising and operational standards.
• Maintain high standards of product quality and sanitation.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, merchandising, and guest service as needed to meet department standards.
• Conduct PA announcements as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Able to actively engage guests.
• Willingness to have fun with guests.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
• Physical capabilities to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and consistently lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to read and understand information and follow directions.
• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks, including knife skills.
• Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Effective communication with and ability to take direction from supervisors.
• Proficiency in using computers and scales.
