About the role
We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Ground Handler Tier 1 to join our fast-paced fulfillment and delivery team. In this role, you will be on the front lines—actively performing picking, packing, and aircraft loading activities—while simultaneously stepping up to support the Operations Team Lead in daily supervisory duties. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic settings, leads by example, and is looking to develop their leadership career. A foundational understanding of supply chain processes and performance metrics is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Accurate Pick & Pack: Efficiently locate, pick, and pack orders according to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Quality Control & Loading: Conduct rigorous weight and accuracy checks before securely loading packages onto delivery aircraft.
- Site Readiness: Assist with morning setup, ensuring the operational area is clean, organized, safe, and that all equipment is fully functional.
- Inventory & Care: Perform daily inventory counts and maintain meticulous care of stock and equipment.
- Junior Leadership & Support Lead Assistance: Act as the right hand to the Operations Team Lead, helping to monitor workflow and guide frontline team members.
- Step-Up Leadership: Confidently manage onsite team activities and daily operations when the Team Lead or Tier 2 managers are unavailable.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion site safety protocols, lead by example, and assist in the immediate resolution of any operational incidents.
- Process Improvement: Keep a pulse on daily throughput and support the team in hitting key supply chain goals.
Requirements
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced setting (logistics, retail, operations).
- Strong communication and operational skills with attention to safety details.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and need to drive between sites for work.
- Must be able to work outdoors.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
- Must be able to push a 160 lb cart up a ramp.
- Must successfully complete local training.
- Availability is required between 6 AM and 10 PM, 7 days/week (Max 40 hours/week).
- Part 107 certification is NOT mandatory.

Pay
