Pick & Pack Associate

About the Role

Join our distribution center in North Canton, Ohio as a Pick & Pack Associate. Become part of a dedicated team supporting a renowned gourmet chocolate manufacturer in a truly sweet work environment.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, temporary position.

• 1st shift: 6:00am–2:30pm or 6:30am–3:00pm
• Part-Time 1st shift: 9:00am–2:00pm
• 2nd shift: 2:45pm–11:30pm

Pay

• 1st shift: $17.00/hr
• Part-Time 1st shift: $17.00/hr
• 2nd shift: $17.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Pack individual candies and product bags into boxes
• Operate various equipment including: shrink & flow wrappers, candy cutters, twist wrappers, boxing and box taping machines, and scales
• Set up and prepare the production line each shift
• Maintain line sanitation and complete thorough clean-up at shift end
• Uphold high quality standards for candy appearance, labeling, packing, and decoration
• Ensure all cases are properly filled and products meet company standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Basic reading, writing, and math comprehension
• No artificial nails or eyelashes permitted
• Work attire must be free from rips, holes, tears, patches, or frays

Physical Demands

• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Bend, stoop, kneel, walk, and stand for extended periods
• Frequently perform repetitive manual tasks
