Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
• Work to increase student count, ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music.
• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
• Assist with customer service as needed to help build and maintain long‑term student relationships.
• Communicate frequently with students and/or parents on progress, goals, and share updates.
• Build trusting relationships with students and families, embracing parents’ knowledge as the child's music teacher.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument that you are proficient in (e.g., Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.).
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching.
