About the Role
Responsible for delivering high-quality music instruction through private lessons and performances, ensuring students learn foundational music concepts. Develop and document thoughtful lesson plans, communicate regularly with parents on student progress, and assist in rehearsals and maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Create and document thoughtful lesson plans
- Communicate regularly with parents on student progress
- Interact with students and parents regularly
- Pitch in during canceled lessons
- Aid in rehearsals and basic maintenance
- Adhere to the School of Rock Code of Conduct and safety policies
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience teaching and/or performing music professionally
- Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure
