PI Technician
About the role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical maintenance and troubleshooting expertise in a dynamic rail environment. You’ll work alongside passionate, collaborative, and dedicated teammates supporting the reliability and performance of modern passenger rail vehicles. You’ll play a key role in delivering field modifications that help improve fleet safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with engineering, quality, and operations teams to implement technical upgrades, perform testing activities, and ensure accurate configuration records are maintained. You’ll specifically take care of electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, and modification activities, while also supporting technical investigations and resolving field issues.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently implementing vehicle modifications in line with technical instructions and project schedules
- Performing inspections and tests to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer acceptance
- Maintaining accurate documentation and modification records to support configuration management
- Identifying, reporting, and helping resolve technical issues, deviations, and non-conformities
- Contributing to a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the site
Requirements
- Certification as a Technician in a mechanical, electrical, or electronics discipline
- Experience or understanding of electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, or equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of technical troubleshooting and fault investigation practices
- Familiarity with basic test equipment and standard IT tools
- Experience working in a field service, manufacturing, transportation, industrial, or railway environment
- Understanding of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements and safe work practices
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Confidence communicating with customers and cross-functional teams
- An interest in railway systems, transportation technology, or industrial equipment

Pay
$40.00 - $43.00 per hour
