Physics Subject Matter Expert - AI Content Specialist

About The Role

We're looking for physics experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on advanced scientific content. Your deep understanding of physics will directly shape how AI reasons through complex problems — making a real impact on the future of intelligent systems.

What You'll Do

• Design challenging, advanced physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more
• Develop rigorous, step-by-step solutions with clear logical reasoning
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy and quality of reasoning
• Identify gaps, errors, and weaknesses in how AI models approach physics problems
• Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level physics topics
• Provide structured, actionable feedback that directly improves model performance

Who You Are

• Currently pursuing or holding a Masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced physics domains
• Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly in writing
• Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluation
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience in academic tutoring, curriculum design, or scientific writing
• Familiarity with data annotation or evaluation workflows
• Exposure to machine learning concepts or AI research environments
