About the role

We are seeking a full-time Radiation Oncology Physicist to support radiation therapy services, including external beam, brachytherapy, SRS, and SBRT. The role emphasizes safety, collaboration, and professional growth within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing equipment acceptance
• Calibration
• Quality assurance
• Developing departmental policies and procedures
• Serving as the Department Radiation Safety Officer, leading radiation safety, shielding, and radioactive material management
• Collaborating with clinical teams to ensure optimal treatment planning and delivery
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives
• Providing staff education and technical instruction
• Supporting innovation and clinical projects

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Physics or related field
• ABR certification
• IEMA radiation therapy license
• Experience in medical physics or a clinical setting is preferred
