Overview
Texas Oncology – Ft Worth is seeking a full-time, team-oriented Medical Physicist (MS or PhD) to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Supports the clinical operations of the radiation oncology department
- Works in conjunction with a team of 9 board-certified physicists to support clinic operations
- Responsible for providing a full range of clinical medical physics services including treatment planning, SRS, SBRT, HDR, and SGRT procedures
- Uses equipment including Truebeam STx, Trubeam, Varian 21 iX, GE CT-Sim, Siemens PET/CTs, Bravos HDR afterloaders, ARIA TPS, Eclipse, and BrachyVision
- Collaborates with a team of 9 physicists, 9 dosimetrists, and 2 physics residents
- Works in a shared database for ROIs, treatment planning, second check program, SNC SunCheck, and Radformation applications
Qualifications
- A current ABR certification or be in the process of obtaining certification
- Eligible for a Texas state license for medical physics
- Working knowledge of SRS, SBRT, and HDR
- Experience with Varian linear accelerators
- Experience with Eclipse/BrachyVision and Element Planning systems
- Strong organization and communication skills
