About the role

At Johnston-Willis, you’ll join a team of two physicists, two dosimetrists, and two radiation oncologists. As a part of our team, you would help support our two TrueBeam linacs, a Flexitron HDR program, a Gamma Knife, and a Focused Ultrasound Neuro program. On the job training would be provided for the Gamma Knife and Focused Ultrasound units.

Responsibilities

• Plan and weekly chart checks
• Perform routine quality assurance for the linacs and CT simulator
• Support clinical operations in external beam radiotherapy physics
• Acceptance and commissioning all new technologies

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in medical physics
• ABR (or equivalent) board certification or eligibility
• CAMPEP approved residency OR 2+ years experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
