Physician – Veteran Examinations - Manhattan, NY

About the Role

The IMA Group is seeking a full-time Physician (MD/DO) to join our Veteran-focused evaluation team in Manhattan. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your clinical expertise in a structured assessment environment while maintaining a predictable weekday schedule. Physicians in this role conduct comprehensive medical evaluations for Veterans and document clinical findings. They do not provide ongoing treatment, prescribe medications, or manage long-term patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical evaluations and physical assessments for Veterans
• Review medical histories, supporting documentation, and diagnostic information
• Accurately document examination findings using established reporting protocols
• Complete detailed medical reports in accordance with program requirements
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure timely case completion

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Active and unrestricted New York medical license
• Strong clinical assessment and medical documentation skills
• Experience conducting evaluations, occupational medicine, independent medical examinations, or similar assessment-based work is preferred
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility is advantageous

Pay

Competitive salary up to $150,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday daytime schedule
• No evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities
