Physician - Urgent Care Plus - Hurstbourne Corners in Louisville, KY

Requirements and Qualifications

• A medical degree from an accredited school of medicine; board certification in family or internal medicine/peds and eligibility for licensure in Kentucky are required.
• Clinical experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or emergency medicine is preferred.
• Possess knowledge to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures.
• Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence. Should be familiar with EMR systems. Familiarity with EPIC is preferred; however, onsite EMR training will be provided.
• Have excellent judgment and discretion, the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Be a team player with a "can-do" attitude that can work in a fast-paced, customer-service-driven environment.
• Able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision.

Schedule

• Shifts are 12-hour and require evenings, 8 am to 8 pm. (Sundays are 8 am to 6 pm)
• Three shift requirement per week (156 shifts annually)
• There is a weekend rotation requirement
