About the role
We are seeking a full-time Thoracic Surgeon to join a comprehensive cancer center team. The role involves performing a wide range of thoracic surgical procedures, especially lung and esophageal surgery, with an emphasis on Robotic-Assisted Thoracic Surgery.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of oncologists, pulmonologists, and gastroenterologists to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and support the expansion of oncology services.
Responsibilities
- Perform thoracic surgical procedures, including lung and esophageal surgery with a focus on Robotic-Assisted Thoracic Surgery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (oncologists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists) to provide patient-centered care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Support the expansion of oncology services
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in Thoracic Surgery
- State medical license
- DEA certification
- BLS certification
