Physician Surgeon

About the role

As a PRN General Surgeon, you will join the Surgery team at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. ANMC is a Level II Trauma center serving over 30 medical specialties and is the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people from across the state.

Responsibilities

• Manage a combination of outpatient clinics and inpatient consults
• Part of a cohesive team providing care in a unique patient population
• Work in a breathtaking geographic setting with access to trails extending for more than 250 miles

Requirements

• Current medical license in Alaska
• Board certification in General Surgery
• Experience in general surgery preferred

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts on the Acute Care Trauma Service
• 7:30a - 5:30P on the clinic service
