You Will

  • As a Prosano physician, you will be a key contributor to our first-class clinical team in delivering direct patient care.
  • Deliver our commitment of excellence to our patients and help us grow through participation in continuous improvement and innovative population health activities.
  • Emphasize customer/patient care excellence, privacy, compliance, and serving in a dynamic healthcare setting.
  • Evaluate and treat clinic patients in accordance with standards of care.
  • Follow levels of medical care and quality for patients and monitor care using available data and chart reviews.
  • Assist in the coordination of patient services, leveraging our internal capabilities and as needed, referral to our network resources.
  • Act as an active participant and key source of medical expertise with the care team through daily huddles.
  • Set a tone of cooperation in practice by displaying a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Complete all medical record documentation in a timely manner.
  • Follow policy and protocol defined by Clinical Leadership and BCBSAZ.
  • Meet with other departments to discuss quality of care, outcome data, policy, procedure, and records issues.
  • Participate in potential growth opportunities for new or existing services.
  • Assure personal compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies.
  • Build relationships with other healthcare providers, social/community organizations, and marketing partners.
  • May include extended hours.
  • Perform all duties as assigned.

You Have

  • Current and unrestricted Arizona medical license
  • Graduated from an accredited MD or DO program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated a high level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communications with colleagues/patients
  • Fully engaged in the concept of an “Integrated team-based care” model
  • A willingness and ability to learn/adapt to practice in a value-based care setting
  • Superior patient/customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • BLS certification
  • Active AZ fingerprint clearance card
  • Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license

This position requires 100% on-site work at the care center location and may also involve movement between clinics as needed.
