Physician Rheumatologist - Comprehensive Care Center

About the role

Clinica Sierra Vista is seeking a Physician Rheumatologist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care in diagnosing and managing patients with rheumatic diseases and autoimmune disorders, working collaboratively with our licensed independent providers, clinical pharmacists, and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient consultation and management of patients with rheumatic and autoimmune conditions (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, vasculitis, osteoporosis).
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging and laboratory studies, to guide treatment decisions.
• Perform joint aspirations, injections, and other rheumatologic procedures as appropriate.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Refer patients to other specialists as clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, clinical pharmacists, and ancillary staff to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with CSV policies and federal regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education activities.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Rheumatology.
• At least 3 years of experience in rheumatology or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, with some weekend coverage as needed.

Pay

The base salary for this position is $345,000 - $380,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
