Position Overview: Role: Physician for Virtual Patient CareLocation: Fully RemoteCompensation: Approximately $120/hourImportant Note:This is a 1099 contractor opportunity, provided that, this classification and rate of pay are subject to change based on the clinicians state of residence, applicable state employment and worker classification regulations, and the clinicians availability and involvement with SteadyMD, to ensure compliance with state-specific labor and wage requirements Responsibilities Include: Deliver patient care across SteadyMD's programs, including but not limited to: urgent care, weight management, lab review, remote patient monitoring and primary careConduct evaluations via video, phone (both scheduled and on-demand), and asynchronous communication with patients of all ages (adults and pediatrics)Serve a diverse patient population while exemplifying inclusivity and evidence-based clinical practicesMaintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care deliveryParticipate in supervision requirements as applicable for credentialing and licensure Requirements Active Physician (MD/DO) with:Minimum of 5 active state licenses and at least one license in the following states: GA, TN, IN, MO, SC, MS, ALOR Minimum of 10 active state licenses and at least one license in the following states: CA, FL, NY, TX, VABoard Certified, Family, Emergency or Internal Medicine Preferred3 years of independent practice experience as a physician preferredTelemedicine or virtual care experience is preferred Proficiency with technology platforms for telemedicine deliveryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong professionalism and ability to work autonomouslyMust be able to learn quickly, adapt to quick pace, express empathy Benefits Fully Remote work with flexible hours Focus on patient care and leave the administrative work to usMalpractice insurance provided, including tail coverageStartup environment focused on real healthcare innovation and disrupting the status quo Our Hiring Process - A Journey Worth Taking: At SteadyMD, our hiring process is as unique as our approach to healthcare.
