Physician Recruitment Associate

Position Responsibilities

  • Affords assistance to the Physician Recruitment team with the full life cycle recruitment of physicians.
  • Schedules interviews (phone, zoom, in-person) with physicians and the Mount Sinai hiring team.
  • Creates and places job postings and advertisements in various career sites and journals.
  • Compiles, edits, and disseminates New and Departing physician lists to the department and other key users.
  • Attends meetings with and follows up on Medical Staff credentialing and Human Resources to determine if the status is clear or pending.
  • Initiates new physician onboarding emails and tracks the process in a database, ensuring all checklists are updated.
  • Captures interview reimbursements and check requests.
  • Manages physician student loan reimbursement process.
  • Maintains the physician contract database ensuring compliance with all contracts, including employed physicians and independent contractors.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in typing documents using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and reviews all documents for accuracy.
  • Maintains files in an organized manner.
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Supports customer service to recruiters, physicians, and MSMC departments as required.
  • Assists the Physician Administration team with projects as needed.
  • Prepares reports and recommends solutions to minimize barriers and improve the impact of the recruiting group.
  • Prepares reports and summaries of information for use by management.

Qualifications

  • No specific license/registration/certification required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • One year of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably within the Healthcare industry is required.
