Duties
- Provide full range of Diagnostic Radiology, including but not limited to plain film radiology including fluoroscopy, Mammography, Neuroradiology, Ultrasonography, MRI, and CT.
- Recommend and direct the care and treatment of the patient.
- Re-evaluate incoming studies of patients being transferred from Regional Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) to determine accuracy of diagnoses.
- Provide consultative services by telephone or site visit to Regional MTFs.
- Provide training in the specialty of Diagnostic Radiology to other Department physicians and the medical students.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- US Citizens
- Basic Requirement: Degree: Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from a school in the United States or Canada.
- Licensure: Applicants must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Residency Training: Applicants must have successfully completed the required accredited residency training in the specialty of the position to be filled (Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology, Radiation Oncology) and equivalent experience and training equal to at least 4 years.
